Kathmandu

Mercer Street Kathmandu store is the outlet just around the corner from the main store. I got quite some gear from here over the years, including a down sleeping bag, hiking shoes etc, all reasonably priced (70%off or so is the only reasonable pricing on Kathmandu gear in my opinion). Quality is good.

Great products that last a long time with happy staff that know their products. Good sales with top quality products.

Picked up a reasonably priced wallet here for a gift. Pleased to pick it up on sale as hadn't seen a sale previously advertised but today they were having a 'flash sale' of 40% off everything in store.

The staff at Kathmandu were very helpful. As I walked in I was greeted and asked what i was looking for and pointed in the right direction. I knew which boots I wanted and so tried them on, and quickly had a staff person come over to assist me. They were helpful and explained that these boots were entry level, and for the terrain I was planning on walking, I would need something more sturdy. They guided me to the right pair at the price point I was after, also advising me that I could wear them around home to test them out and as long as they were still in original condition, I could bring them back to swap. I have been back twice since and find the staff very good, and the quality of the products excellent.
