Funicular

Used to have morning tea here with a friend every week while I still worked in the CBD. Is an occasional treat to go here now. Yummy food and a good hot choc.

The wait for a table was a bit long as there were soo many people, but the coffee itself was delicious and well made.

They are perfectly herbed, cheesed and spiced. They are of course good hot, but I actually prefer them cold where the texture contrast really shines. Incredibly, Jarmila even generously showed me how to make them! If you love cheese scones, you really must try them. Absolutely wonderful.

The Tuscan soup with baked bread here is my favourite. Really yummy and good portion.

Best shake and burger combo in town. Well by that I mean not the usual shake you are thinking of. They rotate flavours sometimes and come up with unique ones at times.
