Excellent restaurant with loads of food options. Great for catering for big groups. Food is always bursting with flavour and they keep changing their menu all the time. Tapas are perfect as you can try many different options. Staff are always friendly. Coffee is great.

First time going to Gothenburg in Hamilton. What a great lunch time dining experience. Mouthwatering, excellent food. Made my birthday extra special. Situated next to the Waikato river, very spacious interior. Made to feel very special. Our new favourite restaurant. Will definitely go again. Recommend the pork belly and crispy chicken dishes. The tapas style is so refreshing.

A friend invited me along with one other to dine at her favourite restaurant. On previous occasions, I was underwhelmed by Gothenburg but this time everything fell into place: food, wine, service and atmosphere. We kept ordering and enjoying the Swedish tapas and probably went one dish too far: the pork belly was great but just a little OTT after what we'd already consumed. From that point onwartds even the excellent mango sorbet was an act of gross self-indulgence.

Aye here Friday night. We're very fortunate to get a table last minute. It filled up really fast around us, atmosphere was buzzing and there was a great vibe .
The food once again was amazing, I have to recommend the cured salmon - dish of the day!
The beef cheek tacos were a really rich dish, super rich in fact. There was a tiny dob of creme freche on top to cut through the richness, but I definitely needed more.
The desserts were good too, our table had the Crewe brulee and the chocolate duo. Both really delish.
Service once again was friendly and knowledgeable.

The food here was excellent and the atmosphere was great. I really enjoyed the main that I ordered and it was definitely worth trying this place. Staff here are great - it has a great vibe here.
