Early Childhood on Stafford is located on spacious grounds, amongst a natural setting of bush and large trees with spaces to swing, run, ride, hide, and explore. 

This brings some of the experiences and challenges that we as adults had in our childhood to the urban learning environment in a setting that is "safe as necessary as opposed to one that is as safe as possible."

Situated on the corner of Stafford St and Melville St, our childcare centre is very convenient for parents coming into the city from the south, the peninsula and from the hill suburbs.

<h2>Who are Little Lions?</h2>Little Lions are our younger students from 5 to 7 years of age.Their sessions are fun-filled martial arts classes, where they learn karate fundamentals while focusing on other essential life skills. Some of the skills we develop during our broad curriculum are Focus, Discipline, Balance, Ability to listen and communicate, Following instructions and more.To keep the fun element going and keeping our little lions engaged, we organise games that are not only helpful for them to be Karate=ready in their lives but also develop their life skills.At Little Lions, kids will learn martial arts-based activities in a fun, active and safe environment with friendly and qualified Instructors.

Open year round, the Clive War Memorial Pool is a 25 metre, indoor heated pool surrounded by Farndon Park and on the edge of the Clive River.

Clive Pool features superb Learn to Swim classes and dedicated lanes for water play and lap swimming. If you prefer to work out with others, our AquaFit classes cater for all fitness levels.

A base for the Waimarama Surf Club and Hawke&rsquo;s Bay Canoe Polo, Clive Pool is also used for school learn to swim and water safety classes.

Welcome to Forfar Nursery and Preschool - we are a community based childcare centre that offers early childhood education for children aged 0 through to 5 years. 
 
The centre is a large renovated, homely villa on expansive grounds that offer children a truly "backyard" play experience, with mature trees and real grass! 

Forfar has a separate nursery area for children aged 0 -2 years, and a preschool area for children aged 2 -5 years. Most children enrol in our nursery and continue through the preschool before heading off to school. Forfar will become you and your child's home away from home.

Qualified and experienced teachers are a centre's greatest resource. We have a fantastic team of long serving teachers who are warm and loving, heaps of fun, a little bit crazy sometimes, and are 100% dedicated to growing great kids.
