<p>The art and photo gallery is owned and operated by two expert print makers; Richard Wood and Chris Helliwell, whose passions have always focused on the printed finished artwork. Richard, a world renowned and highly awarded creative photographer, and Chris, a passionate photographer, picture framer and art preservation expert, have joined forces to bring not only their own art pieces to the gallery, but also those from artists all round New Zealand. The gallery's beautiful art deco rooms are situated upstairs and close to the beach in Napier City in Hawke's Bay. The gallery's primary focus is on both art and photographic limited edition prints that complement the home and office. Art can be purchased both from the gallery itself or you can buy art online.</p>

Welcome to The Caxton Press; our team of over 30 dedicated people specialise in graphic design and quality printing. The company was established in 1935, and has operated for many years out of an historic building at 113 Victoria Street, Christchurch New Zealand.

Our expert team of graphic designers will ensure you achieve the image you require, and the results you want. Our design studio is equipped with quality technology, and has seven Apple Mac OSX computers, colour scanners, and a variety of software to create finished art from your initial concept or to process your files through to our in-house platemaking.

As soon as you add a new aspect to an old piece of Furniture it suddenly becomes original and unique.

Rustica holds a collection of artistic, retro and quirky one-off items and a gorgeous selection of painted furniture fill the Rustica Showroom.

"We can re-energise anything, any item can be made to look a bit different," says Rustica owner Barry Swayn.

**Transformation of existing furniture**

He gives a funky look to a standard set of drawers, turns a packing crate into a cool coffee table with edges, creates his own wall art, and even paints stripes on a vinyl lounge chair.

Indoor and outdoor furniture, he'll give a hard wearing paint finish, in any colour combination and pattern you want.

**Buy direct from the showroom**

You can buy straight from the showroom, in Napier, or bring in your own piece and Barry's team will transform it into a stunning items.

An eclectic range of creative items, furniture, artwork, frames, old prints, fill the Rustica showroom.  Everything you see is for sale.  Even the costume jewellery.

**Creativity at its best**

As well as re-upholstering and re-energising furniture, creative transformations also include resurfacing of old melteca kitchen cupboards and benchtops, using a specialised spray paint that comes in a cariety of colours.

But it's not just about colour and application, there's always an artistic element to Barry's work.  Having been in the spray painting industry since his mid teens, Barry has honed this specialised craft.
