<p>The Sharon Howells School of Dance has operated from the Upper Riccarton-Avonhead area of Christchurch since 1999. We are the only Ballet School in Christchurch with an examiner from the Royal Academy of Dance. __Ballet classes are held from Pre-School (four years old) to Grade 8/Intermediate level.__ The work covered is based on the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) programme for children and students which provides: - An internationally recognised level of attainment with qualifications recognised worldwide. - A syllabus to measure progress with clearly defined goals. - Objective standards for children and teachers WHAT DOES THE SCHOOL OFFER TO MAKE IT SPECIAL * Private owned studio * Two Dance studios, Wardrobe and Costume facilities. * A private and family atmosphere * Easy off street parking . * Character shoes and skirts supplied for students exams * Extensive Costume Department * RAD International examiner teaching if not overseeing every class * Staff trained in RAD and NZAMD __We are an internationally recognised body as are our qualifications.__ To find out more, please visit our website or give us a call today.</p>
