New Zealanders love being part of an international community and standing tall on the world stage - think Peter Jackson, Helen Clark, Kiri Te Kanawa.... It's no surprise then that Trinity Guildhall examinations appeal to the several thousand candidates who enter each year throughout the country.
Trinity qualifications are assessed to the same standards across approximately 60 countries by trained panels of examiners who work internationally to ensure the consistent application of criteria and procedures. This means that the qualifications you receive are internationally recognised.
Trinity is in contact with numerous education authorities around the world to ensure that our candidates' achievement is recognised globally. These arrangements vary from country to country, depending on the subject area and the type of qualifications concerned. The following paragraphs provide a sample of the sorts of recognition work we are undertaking worldwide.
Trinity's ESOL qualifications are recognised by the Conference of Italian Universities Rectors, the Hong Kong English in the Workplace Campaign, the National Qualifications Authority of Ireland and the Greek Government. Our ESOL qualifications are also aligned to the Common European Framework of Reference according to Council of Europe strictures.
