About Us
The Skin Surgery Clinic is one of the largest providers of Skin Cancer Surgery in New Zealand. It was founded with the aim to provide outstanding skin cancer management at an affordable cost.
The clinic offers complete skin cancer care from simple excisions to reconstructive surgical procedures (usually after excision of skin cancer on ears or noses) using flaps and grafts. Dr. Sharad P Paul is also at the forefront of teaching surgical management of skin cancer and is a Senior Lecturer (hon) in Surgery at the University of Auckland and a Senior Lecturer (skin cancer) at the University of Queensland Australia.
The Skin Surgery Clinic offers FREE SKIN CANCER CHECKS. If you are suspicious of any moles or spots all you need to do is call for an appointment with Dr Sharad P Paul. We do not perform “retail cosmetic surgery” such as Liposuction, or “ appearance medicine” such as Botox injections.
We have a fully equipped operating theatre able to handle all aspects of skin cancer surgery. The Skin Surgery Clinic performs between 1500-2000 skin cancer operations per year and has been in operation since 1996 years giving the clinic and its staff a wealth of experience having surgically managed approximately 25000 skin cancers.

- BOTOX® is a Prescription Medicine containing 100 units of Botulinum Toxin type A for injection. It is used for the treatment of frown lines, forehead lines and crow’s feet. It should be administered only by trained medical professionals. Talk to your specialist about the benefits / risks of this procedure in appearance medicine. Cautions: People with defective neuro-muscular transmission disorders, infection at site of injection, glaucoma, pregnancy and lactation. Possible side effects include headaches, injection site pain / burning / stinging / bruising / swelling / redness, local muscle weakness including drooping eyelids / eyebrows, eyelid swelling, skin tightness, tingling sensations, aching / itching forehead, nausea and flu-like symptoms. If you have any side effects or concerns speak to your doctor. You will need to pay for this medicine. Normal Doctors visit fees apply.
