I've been an elgas customer for more than 3 years; my recent experience with the chch branch delivery service has been very disappointing. I ordered a single cylinder replacement in April and waited for a week, no one showed up to change the empty bottle. I rang in the office to find out why, then I was told that their very experienced delivery guy did come to check and reported back as 'no need' because he thinks it was a full bottle and the other one is half-full. I told them they have made a mistake. Then the next day, Elgas did send someone to replace the bottle, however, they replaced both cylinders and sent me the bill as 2 full bottles! They took the half-full cylinder (which I've paid for) away by another mistake!!!
I rang to their chch office to make a complaint and was told they will contact me once they checked the delivery driver's paperwork. And they did not call me back, I rang back again. The manager told me that the paperwork shows the two bottles were changed because both were empty! And they determined their delivery services did not make any mistake!!
Now tell me, how come less than 7 days, my 2 bottles from 'no need to change' to ' two empty bottles'?? Who actually made the mistake in here??
