About Us

Christie Flooring supply and install all leading brands of commercial and residential carpet, carpet tile and vinyl. For the residential market, we specialise in quality wool carpets, but quality nylons and polypropylenes are also available.

A family business, that has operated for 3 generations, since 1914. Today the business is owned and managed by Brian Christie and has 4 employees with over 25 years and 3 employees with over 10 years experience, which brings a wealth of flooring knowledge. In addition we employ well trained and highly skilled installers.

A few recent commercial projects: New Wellington Hospital; BNZ centre; Wakefield Hospital; Stadium upgrade; Thai Embassy; 100's of building fit-outs; Government House refurbishment.
Current projects: Bowen hospital; National Library; MFAT fit out; WCC apartments Newtown.
