Diabetic Retinal Screening. We are a contracted service provider to Capital Coast Health for photoscreening examinations, and are proud of pioneering this award winning program. Ask your doctor to refer you should you need to access this service.

Eye Pathology (including Sore or Red Eyes). We are able to examine your eyes and prescribe eye-drops when your eyes are sore or red and will refer you to specialist care when this is appropriate. Glaucoma and other eye diseases are screened for during our comprehensive routine examinations, but specific screening appointments can be arranged. If you are concerned about sudden changes in your vision (including Flashes or Floaters) please mention this when you make an appointment.

The Visual Field Test is an essential test in establishing how diseases affect your vision. This automated test maps the sensitivity of your peripheral vision, and can be used to investigate glaucoma, strokes, neurological problems and other diseases.

Digital Imaging is essential for monitoring your eyes, and making sure that they keep healthy. We have invested in state of the art imaging systems, so that our optometrists are able to make better decisions about changes in your eyes over time.
