Tinakori Bistro is an intimate restaurant in the heart of historic Thorndon. Serving Wellington for over 30 years, this Bistro is housed in a charming Victorian building with two private rooms upstairs available for functions and private dining. Experience casual, fine dining with a French ambience.

Head Chef Jason Su has run the local busy Bistro for the last ten years. Jason enjoys bringing a variety of affordable high quality dishes with friendly service to all his diners.

We are Open seven days a week, Lunch Monday to Friday from noon, Dinner from 5.30 pm until late. Bookings are recommended so as not to disappoint. Fully licensed & BYO bottled wine only.

Group bookings are welcome and set menus are available with pricing per person starting from $30. Private rooms are also available with group numbers from 10 - 65. The warm and inviting NZ - French contemporary atmosphere means that this venue is popular for weddings and anniversaries.
