Hastings Auto Rentals operates a fleet of well maintained vehicles. Our car rentals in Hastings are fully licensed and carry comprehensive insurance cover. All vehicles undergo a pre-hire check and are maintained to the highest possible standards.

We are located 15 minutes walk from central Hastings and 20 minutes drive from Napier City and 10 minutes drive from Havelock North in the sunny Hawke's Bay. We try and cater for the budget market. People who want a reasonably priced and reliable vehicle. We have eight cars and two 12 seater vans.

All of our cars are very well maintained and after each rental is returned, no matter the distance or time, the vehicle goes through a thorough maintenance check.

Van Rentals

12 seats. Diesel, both vans have manual transmissions. High top roofs with plenty of headroom. The Toyota Hiace can have some or all of the seats removed for extra luggage space or use the whole van for cargo. No special license is needed just a full clean car license. Both vans have CD payers with rear speakers.

Van rental $100/day for short term. Prices negotiable for long term hire

Minimum hire period applies.

The longer you hire the vehicle the better the deal, prices as low as $20 a day.

Budget cars start at $35/day over a two to seven day hire period.

Over seven to 14 days it drops to $30/day and

from 14 days to a month it drops to $25/day and

over 30 days it drops to $20/day as long as there are budget cars available.

We are always open to negotiating a better deal.
