Leading Label was established in 1989 by Eric Ratcliffe and Roy Bickers. They were both senior executives in the print and packaging industry who recognised the need for a local supplier of quality roll-fed self-adhesive labels in Canterbury.

The company remains privately owned by its founders, as well as by key staff within the business.

Gold medal award :: Leading Label’s expertise was acknowledged with a Gold Medal at the 2007 Pride in Print Awards. The medal was for a highly-complex wine label, for a pinot noir produced by Gecko Wines.
