At PhysioOne no referral is required. PhysioOne has been part of NZ Olympic & Commonwealth Games teams. You don’t require a referral to see us, although we do see a lot of patients who have been referred to us by their doctor or surgeon. If you are attending physiotherapy following a referral from a doctor, hospital or other health professional, it is most helpful that you bring all supporting documentation with you to the first appointment. This includes any ACC forms, X-ray reports or referral letters. This enables the physiotherapist to give you the most appropriate treatment.

We are ACC accredited. If your problem is the result of an accident you may be eligible for ACC. No referral is necessary you are able to complete the appropriate forms in our clinics. You will receive a full assessment of your injury by a physiotherapist who will discuss with you the most effective and appropriate management for your injury as well as any alternatives to treatment. Treatment received under ACC has a co-payment for any materials supplied.
