Planet Ayurveda was established in 1996 in New Zealand as the country's first Ayurvedic Wellness & Spa Centre. Ayurda

Ayurda is an Ayurvedic skin care range developed by Dr. Ajit and his wife, Rippan Sandhu which has truly redefined the concept of natural skin & hair care.

Ayurda is a Sanskrit word which translates as 'the bestower of longevity', the relevance of which will be obvious when you see the results.

On offer are a luxurious range of Ayurvedic skin care products which includes cleansers, toners & moisturisers, creams, face packs, shampoos and gels.

During a consultation with Dr. Ajit will access the client's body type, identify any imbalances, assess their state of mind (based on the Ayurvedic principles of Sattva, Rajas & Tamas), identify the causative factors responsible for the imbalance (such as lifestyle, diet & environmental factors at work & home) and assess which of the body’s tissues and channels have been affected.

Dr. Ajit is known for his skill in the diagnosis of these problems through pulse diagnosis, tongue examination & iridology (developed by Dr. Ajit, based on Ayurvedic texts).

After this diagnosis, he will structure a six stage program for his clients. The approach taken by Dr. Ajit is widely accepted by his clients as they feel that his focus is to enhance awareness, rather than making them rigidly follow a particular programme.
