Additional Health Services Support:

* Smoking Cessation - Our team of experienced cessation practitioners are available to help you stop smoking. We provide one on one support and advice either by telephone, in your home or in the surgery. Nicotine replacement therapy is available free of charge. Ask the doctor, nurses or receptionist for a referral, or visit our website and register.

* Mental Health - Our mental health nurse is available to help you to achieve mental wellbeing. The nurse will see you on a one to one basis or with your extended family at a venue to suit you. Referral is through the doctor or nurses.

* Dietitian Service - Our dietitian is available to give you advice on managing your diabetes and other nutritional needs. They can assist with healthy eating for the whole family. Ask the receptionist, doctor or nurses for a referral.

* Podiatry (new position) - The podiatrist will be visiting to hold clinics on a regular basis. They will assess and treat problems and give health education to help you avoid future problems. Referrals are through the doctor or nurses or ask the receptionist at the clinic.

* X-Ray & Mammography (start date 1st November 2011): The full range of general x-rays are performed, including those for the chest, abdomen, spine, head, and all extremities. Images are captured with a CR system and transmitted digitally to our radiologists for reporting. For x-rays taken before 2.45 pm, reports are available the next working day. If required, images can be given to patients on disc to take back to their referrers.
