The firm was established in 1988 from the amalgamation of the established firms of Webb Brash Ward & Co and Brunton Farry Cassidy & Gowing - the latter firm traced its origins in Dunedin to the late 19th century. The firm has deep links with the Dunedin and Otago communities.
