Wellhand located in Wellington is a clinic specialising in the treatment and rehabilitation of patients with hand injuries and related conditions. Wellhand has been operating for ten years.
All of the therapists working in the clinic are post-graduate trained physiotherapists who have completed many extra hours of theory and practical training in acute and chronic hand conditions and splinting so that they are now all NZ Registered Hand Therapists. We work closely with Orthopaedic, Plastic and Hand Surgeons both in private practice and DHBs. In some cases we are able to assess and start treatment on patients whilst they are waiting for an appointment with the specialist.
