Blue Mountain Nurseries are a wholesale/retail nursery based at Tapanui in southern New Zealand. We produce hardy trees and shrubs and have a passion for the rare and unusual, specialising in rhododendrons, conifers and pleione orchids.

The nursery was established in 1932 producing trees, shrubs, bulbs, cut-flowers and perennials. Today the nursery covers approximately 5 hectares, employing 16 full time staff.All plants are hardened off to the South Island climate zone. We offer a wide range of unique plants including azaleas. We also do a wide range of Native plants, we also import plants too.

Blue Mountain Nurseries markets plants in a number of forms. Firstly as 'Growing on Lines' and secondly as 'Finished Product' for garden centres and landscapers. You are always welcome at our large retail shop where we sell top grade connoisseur plants and a large range of gardening products.
