Art Dressmakers is a dressmaking studio based in Auckland and approved by some of New Zealand's major fashion designers. We are accustomed to producing original, wedding gowns, bridesmaids gowns, flower girl dresses & mother of the bride / groom gowns with little more than sketches, photographs or an enthusiastic description. Whatever your body type, we can create your dream dress – no pattern needed.

We also offer a range of alteration services including

-General Alterations: All clothing alterations including hem and seam repair, buttons snaps and zippers, linings, and pockets.

-While-You-Wait Alterations: For those smaller jobs such as jeans shortening.

-Garment Restyling: Breathe life into those out-of-fashion outfits or clothing that don't fit comfortably any more.

-Weddings / Special Occasions: We re-size and re-model gowns to suit your current needs.

-Retailers/Corporate: We offer discounted prices for the bulk alterations.

-Home Furnishings: Blinds, cushions, sheets, duvet covers.

The owner is Ruzica Timarac, an experienced seamstress with nearly 35 years experience in New Zealand and Europe.
