Introducing Tony York

Principal of the practice, Tony graduated from Otago with his dental degree in 1978. After 18 months working in South Canterbury, Tony moved to his home town of Christchurch to commence practice in Lincoln Road. Tony has offered 30 years continuous service to his Hoon Hay patients. Tony also holds his qualification in Intravenous Sedation.

Leigh Stevenson BDS BSc

Introducing Leigh Stevenson

Leigh has been in the practice for 13 years. She graduated fom Otago University with a Batchelor of Science in Microbiology and Immunology in 1991 and a Batchelor of Dental Surgery in 1994. Leigh holds her certificate in Intravenous Sedation.

Introducing Dawson Young

Dawson graduated from Otago University with an Honours degree in Chemistry and (in 1999) his Batchelor of Dental Surgery. Dawson was first with our practice as a locum after graduation and returned after 2 years of OE in London to practice in Hoon Hay.

Helen joined the practice in January 2009 educated at Avonside Girls High, Helen graduated from Otago Dental School.

Introducing Ryan Carlton

Ryan (Duchenne Dental) spends 3 part days a week with us as our Dental Technician. Duchenne (Formerly JB's Dental Service) offer the full range of Denture services. Ryan qualified in 2001 and has been with JB's since 2001 and was previously Lab manager at JB's and is currenly HR manager with Duchenne Ryan gained his implant overdenture qualifications in 2007. Ryan's interests centre around snowboarding, hunting and getting out and about.
