With studios in Papanui, Ladbrooks, Halswell, Springston, Lincoln, Tai Tapu and Sumner students have the opportunity to learn dance styles including ballet, jazz, hip hop and contemporary. The Papanui studio has recently moved into a building with two purpose-built dance studios, exclusively used by Anna Lee School of Dance pupils.

The dance school prides itself in providing a high standard of technical teaching that enables students to sit optional exams and medal tests if they wish. Anna Lee School of Dance has a proven history of students excelling, with superb exam results. Our friendly teachers are all well qualified and passionate about passing on their dance skills and knowledge to students.

Dance classes at all the locations are tailored for pre-schoolers through to advanced students. The fun and supportive environment with its’ emphasis on enjoyment ensures students feel comfortable as they learn dance movements. Health benefits for students participating in regular dance sessions include increased confidence, self-esteem and coordination.

Our students also put on an annual recital which is very popular, fast-paced and entertaining.
