The secluded and private lodge, located half way between Taupo and Rotorua offers exclusive use to all groups plus on site activities and team development programmes.

ACCOMMODATION & CONFERENCE ROOM

With 19 ensuite rooms plus a private cottage the lodge can cater up to 40 delegates. Our fully air conditioned conference room is equipped with wireless broadband, projector, TV & DVD player, lectern, electronic white boards, flip charts, pads, pens, mints etc. Break-out areas and a private conference office with photo copier are also available.

RECREATION

Facilities include a swimming pool, spa, tennis court, kayaks, jet boating, claybird shooting, archery, hole in one golf, petanque, giant jenga, poker table, cricket and volley ball.

TEAM DEVELOPMENT

The River Lodge offers several exciting team building options to suit your objectives inclduing a full obstacle course, raft building and racing, claybird shooting, archery and "everyone's an artist". Board the NZ RiverJet or The 1908 Riverboat Waireka from the private jetty and enjoy a scenic ride down to Orakei Korako Thermal Park.

DINING

Dining at The River Lodge is always a treat. We offer serveral catering options from a casual barbecue to a five course formal meal. We have a spacious dining room iwth a large open fire and leather couches and our house bar serves fine wine, beer, spirits and expresso coffee. For something truly unique enjoy a boat trip to a secluded spot along the river where the chef will be waiting! Theme dinners such as Wild, Wild West and MASH are also popular.
