Maru Montessori is a preschool located in Albany licensed for up to 45 children between the ages of 2 and 6, specialising in the Montessori method of education. The preschool is open from 8:45 am to 3:15 pm Monday to Friday.

Children are encouraged to be independent, creative, respectful, caring and inquisitive. When you visit the school you will notice how happy the children are and how engaged they are in activities.

Maru Montessori Preschool follows the principles and practices of the Montessori philosophy, as well as those outlined in Te Whariki, the New Zealand Early Childhood Curriculum.
