Family Matters Home based Childcare is taking enrolments for children aged 3 months to 5 years. We provide a relaxed Home based environment for your child to grow and prosper within a family structure similar to your own. We have dedicated educators waiting to care for your child.

A maximum 1.4 educator to child ratio and a safe, secure and stimulating learning environment is enhanced by the supportive love and care of your child's family/whanau – enabling Family Matters to provide the best care and learning environment there is.

- Educators have access to regular playgroups, music groups, gym groups etc.

- Educators are also encouraged to meet casually with other educators and their care children at our playgroup venue adding to your child's experiences.

- We are licensed by the Ministry of Education, which enables you to access 20 hours free care and Education for 3 and 4 year olds. You may also be entitled to a WINZ childcare subsidy.

- All educators are police checked to ensure the safest enviroment for your child.

- Your chosen educator is responsive to your child's needs and interests.

- Your child's educational programme caters to their individual abilities and interests and is documented in your child's individual developmental profile.

- Your educator is supervised and trained and supported by a qualified Early Childhood teacher and is in contact with your child's educator no less than twice a month and more often in the initial stages after the commencement of care.

- You choose and only pay for the hours you need for your child's care if you are working, studying, or are a parent in need of time out, your child will receive the best of care
